This work is used handcraftsmanship of Tsuiki in Japanese that means a traditional hand-hammered metal work.
A finished work from a single metal plate has passed through the tremendous process, for example, beautiful dents on surface requires tens of thousands of hammering with high accuracy and concentration.

The distinctive colour is depends on condition of boiling it - weather, humid, well-polishing and the right timing of finish. New life is breathed into the exquisite piece throughout these process and her untiring enthusiasm.

You can enjoy the joy of a discover - a colour of piece is going to changing beautiful, as time has gone by.

She was born in Kyoto and her father is also an artist of traditional metal works. She has created pieces such as tea wares, sencha wares, vase and incense burner.
Metal can be softened or hardened by hammering and she is good at expressing the beautiful dot patterns. The gentle curves and colors attract people.
